Open Water Swimming Skills

The following sessions bring open water swim skills safely into the pool environment to improve confidence. Many can be worked on individually, but add some team-mates for best effect.

Work through and recreate the exercises and these will familiarise you ahead of your race on a smaller, safer scale. Prepare with the warm-up options ahead of the main sets that follow. Choose one warm-up to start your session, depending on how you are feeling or what your stroke might need at this time. Distances assume a 25m pool.
